heh, she doesn't mind, she occasionally reads them... like the old horror comic books from the early 1950s.
i'm glad you're back to writing your movie reviews on your blog... i was telling aleli that i much prefer to hear you talk about movies than to actually see the movies.
does aleli like the ec comics that you used to show me back in high school that i found tremendously disturbing?
most of the movies i wrote about, you never need to see. but the good ones deserve better than what i can write. if you can, take your sons (or at least stefano - he's probably old enough) to the fantastic mr fox. it's my fave movie this year, but at screenings i went to - there were tons of very little kids who all looked enthralled too.
yes, i'm looking forward to mr. fox on the big screen.
she likes the ec comics, and the ones i like even better now are from the less reputable publishers of the 1950s that came up with stories that are so convoluted and illogical they make your head spin, and i love the head-spin.
i guarantee you that avatar will be as terrible as armand says.
avatar is so far from terrible that i don't have the ability to describe the experience adequately. you absolutely have to see it in a theater. it's pretty mindblowing.
